Products Overview

Our casemix products include the Combo suite of costing products and our DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) groupers for the AR-DRG (Australia and other countries) and G-DRG (German) classifications.

ComboCM

ComboCM is a cost modelling system designed to cost hospital products down to the patient class by cost component level - for example, a breakdown of costs by DRG for nursing, medical, imaging, drugs, prosthesis, allied health, and so on. The hospital products are user defined and are not limited to acute inpatient classes such as DRGs or HRGs but can include other programs/classes relating to emergency or ambulatory patients, or to products such as teaching and research. This allows all hospital outputs to be costed.

 

ComboPC

ComboPC is a patient costing system that is upwards compatible with ComboCM and is designed to cost hospital products down to the patient episode by cost component level. In fact, lower level breakdowns may be defined - for example, the drugs cost component could be broken down into, say, HIV drugs, high cost drugs and other drugs. For many of our users, ComboPC provides a cost breakdown that is more than adequate for their purposes but it is not designed to process at a level of detail such as cost by drug item, or pathology test.

 

ComboCC

ComboCC is a clinical costing system that is upwards compatible with ComboPC and is designed to cost hospital products down to the patient episode level and below. For example, it can cost sub episodes such as ward or ICU episodes within an acute inpatient episode. It also allows costing down to very detailed levels as defined by the user - for example, cost by drug item, or pathology test, or by surgeon by operation, or cost per day by component.

DrGroup

DrGroup is our AR-DRG grouper system that groups to all AR-DRG versions from all relevant editions of ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-AM.
